I recently visited this lovely salon for a haircut and toning to correct a balayage that I had done elsewhere. Kim, the colorist, listened carefully to my concerns about it and did an incredible job toning it, transforming it from an ashy mess into a beautifully balanced shade that I absolutely love. Paulina gave me a haircut that perfectly complemented it, and her attention to detail was impressive. She even curled it so quickly into a style I absolutely love and has lasted me for two days now. First off, I was so impressed with how posh and modern the interior is! Granted, the Salon is located on 5th Ave, so I wouldn’t expect anything less. Decoratively speaking, it’s well-curated, and truly is made to be an upscale boutique experience. Michelle, the owner, has such a great spirit and her staff is exuberant and accommodating, not to mention skillful, with a plethora of different specialties. A particular standout for me as well was Alexa, the manager, who has an absolutely lovely energy and she made me feel incredibly welcome. Its been a few months since my appt and i still love my hair cut. I was getting married late March and saw Paulina for a haircut about a month prior (risky i know!). My usual person at another salon was on vacation for 2 weeks so I took a chance on someone else. My haircut experience was phenomenal. Paulina understood what I was looking for and executed perfectly. I have very straight, thick long hair. However, just because its very straight, doesn't mean its fine, each individual strand is actually quite thick and a lot don't quite understand hair texture very well.
