I've had horrible experiences in the past with other salons bleaching my hair and causing it to burn off so I'm very picky about who I choose to do my hair now. I came across this salon on Yelp & decided to give Dyno a try.I had balayage in the past and it's been a year since I've got my hair done again. I wanted to go fully blonde again for a while but salons kept telling me they couldn't do it because of the balayage & highlights in my hair.I had my appt w Dyno today & he explained & broke down everything step by step as to what he was going to do to my hair. I’ve been getting my hair cut at Nonstop by Dyno for about a year now and have never stayed this consistent with a hairstylist and salon maybe ever. That is a testament to how amazing the cuts and stylists here are!Upon consultation with Dyno at the first appointment I was really impressed by his expertise and attention to detail. He listened to what I wanted and offered insightful suggestions tailored to my hair type and how to get from what I had to the cut I wanted. He was really clear about certain limitations and communicated what he would do to fix certain aspects of my hair. From now on I will be only going here for my haircuts the best hair salon in NYC by FAR. I got my haircut from Hiro and he understood exactly what I was going for and how to work the style with my face. My hair before was a wolf cut with A LOT of layers so when I wanted to change to a bob cut I was emotionally preparing to look like a coconut, but Hiro found a way to cut it the perfect length and make the cut as sharp, straight, and full as possible. It was a huge trust the process time but I'm so happy that I trusted him this is the best cut I've gotten in years and everyone around me loves it too haha. The price wasn't bad at all for a senior stylist haircut and so much more worth than the many overpriced celebrity hair stylists. Also, one of the coolest hair salons I've ever seen the inside is so chic and edgy.
