I started seeing Mike Hood at NYPT several years ago after recovering from surgery on my lower back. I wanted to start lifting again but I needed to be careful to not hurt myself after the surgery. Mike helped find the perfect balance between a safe and low impact routine that still led to noticeable results in strength and physique. Also, the space and the people at NYPT are so welcoming and kind I look forward to going there weekly for my training sessions. I’d recommend Mike Hood and NYPT to anyone looking to level up their fitness routine!
I just finished my 3rd personal training session with Guy and I have to admit I am impressed! During my initial visit Guy has helped me clearly define a plan that emphasizes the best rout for me to achieve all my goals. So far we have been very efficient at tackling and progressing through my tailored fitness plan. I feel confident that work we put in together combined with the work I do beyond the gym will pay off over the next few weeks and get me the desired results. Very professional, very knowledgeable. I had problem with my hip after two pregnancies and Guy was very helpful to help stabilize my hip and my back pain has decreased a lot. Also he is very good with postpartum women who have diastasis.
