I was in Chinatown for a lunar new year celebration and while walking around I stumbled on to this barbershop. I didn't have time to get a haircut before I left home. I saw the price as I was walking by one of the barbers waved me in and I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. I paid $7 for an awesome haircut. The place was busy but with 4 barbers, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. If you want for an additional $3 you can get a shampoo and blow dry. They only take cash but at that price it isn't an issue. If I am in the area and needed a haircut I would go back.
What kind of bike do you want for ten dollars? Two cups of milk tea are more expensive than this! The uncles who speak Cantonese have no problem with their craftsmanship and their aesthetics. As for communication. Can someone speak Cantonese, or take photos? it should be no problem. For this price and effect, I think it’s okay to give it five stars. If you want to complain about the environment, please go to the 100 Yuan Barber Shop.
I don't know what people with 1 star reviews expect from a $7 haircut barbershop, but the haircut was definitely good and quick. Just showed the photo as an example of what I wanted and received a good result in 10 minutes. The place is not sparkling clean, but again, I came for a haircut and not for the environment.
