Moxy NYC East Village is a fabulous hotel, especially for Broadway lovers. However, be aware of the mandatory "Destination fee" of $30 per day, which must be spent in their cafe or bar. The rooms are on the smaller side with limited furniture, making it a bit tight for two people. The bed is hemmed in on three sides, requiring one person to climb over the other to access the bathroom. The cafe serves delicious pastries and coffee, but at night, it turns into a loud bar. Andrew, one of the staff members, is known for being super welcoming, friendly, and helpful during check-in. Despite the small rooms and additional fee, the hotel maintains cleanliness and a great atmosphere.
