I heard of Miss Margaret through a friend who was looking for the location of the salon because it was in my neighborhood. A friend of mine who lives a block away showed me where the salon was and I contacted Miss Margaret by phone number posted on her sign. She's the only "old school" hair stylist I know. Prior to meeting her, I'd gone to another "old school" hairstylist. However, she relocated out of state. I was so glad to find another hairstylist who does natural hair. Also, Miss Margaret has a few clients who attend/attended my church and have had their hair done there as well. I was relieved to be able to get a wash and set and a press and curl, again. Miss Margaret is the real deal. She would give you a consultation and advise you on what you need. She treats you like family. I've been a client for six months. My hair has been healthy. If you want an "old school" hair stylist, contact Miss Margaret. I recommend Miss Margaret.

Some things are just better old school, case in point Margaret's beauty spot. I believe that no one has left a review because this place is the type of place you keep to yourself. Prices are on point. Hair care is top notch and her customer service is genuinely friendly whilst making me feel like family. Natural hair care is something everyone claims to know but the proof is in the swing and body of the hair! She doesn't boast her specialties but this woman knows her craft. My hair bowed to greatness today. Most importantly, there was no pressure and watching her work reminded me of coming into a beauty salon for the first time. Not many places will honor staying late to wait for a first time client just because they called in advance. They do that here. When I sat in her chair for a consultation she gave me the advice I knew I needed but don't always get at your traditional rush-job salon. Yikes I've already said too much. All others are on my backup dialer. Mrs Margaret is the truth.
