“Lucy did both mine and my partner's hair and my makeup for our elopement. Not only did she do a beautiful job for both of us but we really enjoyed chatting with her while we got ready. Lucy is such a warm and personable person! From the beginning Lucy was friendly via email and answered all of my questions and responded in a timely fashion. Lucy was made sure she asked us a lot of questions about our preferences and helped us with options when we weren't sure exactly what we wanted. She also helped me put my veil on. She arrived at our hotel room in a timely fashion. I also loved that there were elopement packages that were less expensive than a full wedding day package and that there was a men's package since my partner has extra long hair. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend the services of Miss Harlequin!“

“I visited Salon VMS for the first time in September of last year for balayage highlights to test the style for my upcoming wedding in April. I had never really done highlights in the past, so was excited to get in with Anna who came highly recommended in other reviews below. I've now had 3 appointments with Anna, and she's been great every time!

The salon itself is elegant and clean with nice stations for each stylist. Everyone I've interacted with at the salon (Anna, Vlad, Michael, and the assistants) have all been super welcoming and kind. This is a great salon all around!“

“I decided that any salon that could thrive on the fourth floor of an office building was likely to have a strong repeat clientele and i was right. It is clean, busy, pleasant and i got an outstanding wash and blow dry from April on very short notice. I will go back whenever i am in new york. I have had a Sassoon "bob" cut for a very long time and she recognized it as a classic precision style so i would not hesitate to have a cut there too.“

“I absolutely adore the team at Abby Lauren! They are the most professional, kind, thoughtful, and talented group of artists in the business. Abby herself was not available on my wedding day, but she went above and beyond to communicate clearly and in a timely fashion to make sure her team would be ready for the big day! We still talk on Instagram now! I worked with Andrea for makeup and Bailey for hair. It was an absolute dream! It's like getting your hair and makeup done by two close friends who bring out the absolute best in you! He is a creative genius and, without opening my mouth, knows exactly what to do with my hair. I now live in Boston, and he is absolutely worth the trip down to Manhattan every few months to get my hair cut. More importantly than anything, he's become a friend.
