Just a brief update here:After posting my previous review, the Maidhawk/Hawkbright owner reached out to me to see whether there was anything he could do to improve on the service. After some initial concern, I agreed to accept the offer, a one-time free cleaning. Immediately, the owner asked "Ok, and would that be in exchange for switching the one star review to five stars in Yelp?" When I said that I'd be happy to review the new service honestly once I received it, communications died down and no one followed up with me to book the new service.
This is my first Yelp review which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, have very good things to say about Maidhawk! I have a 2bed/2bath and Sandra was there for about 4 hours.Pros:-Very transparent with costs-Great communication-At $35/hr, cheaper option than others that I quoted-Very good service-Confirmed time spent cleaning w/ me before billing-Totally online (no cash needs to change hands)-Super thorough job cleaning in bedroom / bathroomsCons:-Sandra arrived 30 min early. Some may see this as a pro, but I wasn't expecting her for another 30 min and had to jump off a meeting early.-I noticed some areas that were overlooked so I had to vacuum again.
