I had a great experience with La Mode 1st Cleaner! Their prices are fair and more reasonable than others in the area and I've felt that they have done a great job cleaning my items. They also have a quick turnaround time. As an example, to dry clean a dress cost me $18, where another dry cleaner quoted me $30 for the same dress. I will definitely continue to use this shop for my future dry cleaning needs.

THE BEST DRY CLEANERS ON THE UES. Where I choose to move/live is based on distance to this dry cleaner. He is the most friendly, personable, professional and skilled person. Excellent customer service every single day. I called 5 months into the pandemic in a panic I left clothes there and he recognized my voice over the phone and said he wouldn’t throw anything away (very rare). Every time I go in he recognizes me and is already going to look for my clothes — that makes a customer feel at home. That’s how I would describe this place, a very welcoming homey atmosphere where you can trust your clothes to be taken care of.

I love La Mode, best tailor and dry cleaners on the upper east side. I take everything here. Never a problem, quick turn around. Kim is great, informative and helpful with tailoring.
