I’d just recommend going to another one of the cheap spots around Pell st. They took 20 mins to do wash blow and cut (my hair is shoulder length and she cut 2 inches) and then got annoyed when i tipped $17. Didn’t even say thank you, like that’s what I can give. She splashed water in my face multiple times too. Would’ve saved this review if she was nice enough to say thank you!

The more popular salon across the road on Pell st. was full and busy, so I took I chance on this one. I was skeptical because the place looks shabby and i thought it was just a barbershop then I saw female staff on the ither side. I got a very relaxing hair wash,,, the lady was vigorously washing my scalp that for some, it may feel like she’s rough but it felt like a head massage for me. MANDY did my hair. I was pleasantly surprised with the result. My hair easily beat the 120 haircut I got from midtown. I will definitely comeback here when I visit Chinatown again. Been having my haircut here since I was a baby and they always know how to cut my hair for nearly 20 years, always happy to come here and even give more cause of them, they bring memories and consistent quality to their cuts
