What a great hidden soho gem ! Perfect location right next to many subways stations! Had a wonderful teacher named Sarah. She did a private session for me and my sister- she worked slowly with us and explained everything we were doing since it was our first time. She even explained the history of Pilates and showed us some awesome pictures on the wall of the guy who invented Pilates! Great and clean facility. I will return and recommend to all friends.
Love this Soho Pilates studio! Owner Gina is one of my favorite teachers, it's as though she can already tell what's going on with your body when you walk in! The rest of her teachers that I took with are great too, all of them classically trained and very professional. You'll definitely get a good workout at this place!
While there are Pilates studios on every block these days, Grasshopper Pilates is one you NEED to seek out. This is authentic, classical Pilates taught by teachers with a tremendous amount of experience and skill. The instructors are superb, the space is nice and the staff is very helpful. They are supportive of whatever you need when you come in their doors. Definitely come and check this place out!
