I bring my Cavapoo “Jrue” to First Avenue Vet for all of his shots and also when he isn’t feeling well, since he was 3 months old. I don’t remember a time where I wasn’t greeted with a warm welcome and a smile by the receptionists at the front desk. We never wait long to be seen and the doctors and vet technicians are all so kind, knowledgeable , and understanding to what ever our needs may be during a visit. When Jrue got neutered the surgery went good & so did the healing process, there were no complications. I was able to get a same day appointment for my dog. My dog has seen Dr. Meltzer previously and am glad to be able to find him here (by accident!) and have my dog continuously under his care. He explained everything clearly and the visit was seamless.
Brought my 4 year old dog and 3 1/2 year old cat to get established with their care here. They were seen right away upon arrival and even though my dog especially gets terrified at the vet, they were able to tempt him with treats and were very kind to both of them. They were efficient and caring. Highly recommend.
