Really nice family owned and local business in the neighborhood. I accidentally put the wrong address for my packages for over a couple of weeks and the business woman was kind enough to hold onto them and handle them with care.
I added this business on Yelp fairly recently and gave them a 5-star review for doing a great job with my coat. Not sure why it's done and who folks are here bashing them with zero reviews and how they're apparently a year old but this place is great. A tad pricey but they get the job done.
This place is around the corner from my office, so I have been here a handful of times in the last several years. I've always thought it was strange how negative the reviews are, but just shrugged it off because I rarely write reviews. After going to the Yelp page today to verify their phone number and seeing "Yelpers report this location has closed", I'm convinced someone (competitor?) has a vendetta against the place. I mean, look at some of these reviews! They stole clothes from your baby? Come on, I don't believe that for a second. They don't just give clothes out to random people that don't have their receipt? I sure hope so! 1. They are not permanently closed. They have not gone out of business. I was inside the shop 20 minutes ago dropping off pants. If you see it reported that they're closed, call them, because it probably is not true. 2. This place is fine. It is not a one star business. It is not a five star business. It is a no-frills, run of the mill dry cleaner and basic tailor. 3. The older Korean guy who runs the place has always been polite to me. He is direct, soft spoken and occasionally somewhat hard to understand, so you may want to politely verify any questions you have a couple of times. Also, they have a sign prominently displayed on the door that says they are closed every Saturday and Sunday. 4. I've gotten around 6 pairs of pants hemmed here over the years. Yes, that's the most basic tailoring possible, but it has been perfect and on time every time. Normally hemming is $5-$6. Same day, especially early afternoon, will be $15-$20, but I'm happy to pay that to get pants turned around quickly and properly when I need them that evening.
