This review is for Danae! I started going to Facials by Bonnie after a bad experience with my previous aesthetician in Flatiron. I started with a face full of painful, slightly itchy acne that had been there for several years. I was getting monthly extractions at that point, but with so few positive results that I was starting to harbor doubts. After I made the right decision of switching clinics, I booked Danae and went for my first facial. She is a very skilled practitioner. Within 4 months of visiting Danae every 2-3 weeks, along with some lifestyle modifications, I was able to clear up a severe case of cystic acne. It's been many months since my last visit with her; I've been following her recommendations since then and my skin has remained clear. I've struggled with cystic acne for 12+ years, and was only able to clear my skin in 2019 by visiting an esthetician on the west coast who recommended (among other things) eliminating gluten from my diet. Removing gluten was the only thing that had ever, and has ever, worked for me. I cannot say enough good things about Danae & how lovely my experience was with her!!! I went for my first ever facial with her last week (I was experiencing worsening hormonal acne) & she gave me both dietary and skincare advice, which I followed to the T. She also followed up with me & answered all of my after-care questions. In just a week my face is virtually healed & my stubborn hormonal pimples are significantly lighter! I did not think I would see results this fast & I feel confident in my skin again!! I am never going anywhere else for a facial. The first 2 pictures are my face right now vs my face a week ago- HUGE improvement!!!
