Hell hole is an understatement, family member went in for heart pain. 4 hours for EKG and vitals. The hospital is understaffed and there is a lack of basic equipment. Bathrooms not cleaned. Almost felt as if the place was going out of business! Also left in a frozen room for 30 hours, no blankets or call button (insane for patients alone) ! If you have no family to advocate for you, good luck! Watched multiple people waiting 30 + hours for a room and decided to check out. DO NOT GO HERE, Also note - the pediatric ER is run separately and had an amazing experience in past. Different team.
this is a hellhole. there is no way to call anyone for help. they have no means of communicating with patients. there is no means of calling in fact, there is no call button whatsoever. after waiting 4 hours to get help, i finally out of extreme desperation, resorted to shouting "help." as loudly as I could. this yelling produced a bit more response but hardly what you would consider "caring/concerned."if you're one step away from death, maybe choose weill otherwise look around for a less dismissive more responsive ER.btw, they got even for my shouting by iincluding a 2 pg MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES INFO SHEET. BIG FAT STAFF JOKE!!!
Hell on earth. I went there because I couldn't walk and was in severe pain. A doctor came over and said he was my doctor. Asked questions seems very nice. I never saw him again and the next 10 hours were pretty much the same. They did do X-rays. Fractured hip and then they sent me home. I didn't go into all the details. getting help going to the bathroom was torture. Basically you were invisible. it was a nightmare
