I visited Elizabeth today for the first time today and she was truly amazinggggg!!!! So pleasant, thorough, patient & well informed. Firstly, this is my first time ever doing Electrolysis. Up until two months ago I never even heard of it as a solution for permanent hair removal. I suffer from chin hairs (hereditary) and have been plucking them for about 10 years. In addition, I'm a Black woman and suffers from dark marks in the area due to hyperpigmentation from plucking the hairs. I did some research and came across Elizabeth Electrolysis and scheduled my consultation. When I walked into her office (extremely clean btw) I was greeted by Elizabeth. What I thought would be a 30 min consultation turned into an hour and 15 mins. As I stated, I've done research but gave Elizabeth the opportunity to explain the process to me. She first explained the different methods used to treat the hairs, the growth cycle of hairs, what I can expect from treatment and after care. I then asked her about the sterilization process and she went through everything showing me how she sterilizes the instruments, the different disposable needles used, how they are discarded in the sharps bin and so forth. I then asked about her credentials (as I did see she was board certified on the American Electrolysis Association website prior to my consultation and I saw she had all her credentials hung up on the wall to see.) She started off explaining to me what lead her into Electrolysis and all of the credentials and board certifications she has. After about 40 mins of talking she asked if I wanted to proceed with a patch test which at this point I felt more than comfortable to. She observed my chin and informed me that my case was not bad whatsoever and that I didn't have a lot of hairs. Instead of doing just a patch she treated all the hairs on my chin stating she didn't want me to walk out the office with half my chin left with hairs and that I didn't have many to begin with. All of this took about 20 mins but remember the time will vary based on the amount of hair! I do have thick chin hairs but again, not many so it didn't take long to remove them all. She also made me feel very comfortable throughout the process and stopped at times and asked if I was doing okay. Afterwards she gave me instructions for aftercare. I pulled out my card to pay and she refused to charge me! She said she always gives her clients a complimentary session and includes a patch test. I then offered to tip her which she refused as well! This is how I know she takes pride in her work and cares for her her clients. From there we made plans to to schedule my upcoming appointment schedule. If you are looking for an certified electrologist, I highly recommend this woman! She knows her stuff and as you can see from my review is just a pleasure to be around!

Elizabeth is a very thorough and kind-hearted professional. Literally one of the most immaculate professionals I have had the chance to work with as an adult. She also takes pride in educating her clients on best self-care practices before, during, and after procedures. I have extremely sensitive skin (multiple skin conditions) and pretty dark skin and Elizabeth has been able to work around it all and accommodate what my skin needed for best results. I had stopped services due to my hectic schedule and (also my personal pain tolerance in certain areas!) but I look forward to definitely starting services again soon when the chance arrives! She's the real deal and a delight.
