Michael Seiden retired in 2020. The dentist who took over TranscenDental is so desperate for clients, her office people will lie about him still being there and the insurances they accept. 90 minutes and two forms with sooo much personal info to find out they don't really take the insurance we had been discussing since the beginning of the call.If they're not honest before a patient steps in their office... what do they do during the procedures?Find a different office.
Madeline and I have been patients of Dr. Seiden for many years. We cannot praise him highly enough! He is smart, knowledgeable, thorough, careful, conscientious—and funny! He is also conservative in his approach to a dental problem, considering the simplest and least expensive solution before moving on to more complex and potentially more costly procedures.
I first met Dr. Michael Seiden over 35 years ago though my wife. She began with him 2 years prior. He was great, better than most others I’d gone to before and our insurance covered many procedures.Our insurance coverage changed three times since then, however, and hoping to save we moved on to other Upper East Side practices. A mistake for the most part. One time procedures too often turned multiple. When insurance all but disappeared we went for the best deal we could find, almost every visit then required another (and another).
