I first met Suki in 1980, when she worked for a salon in the old Bonwit Teller, and I was starting in book publishing. Not long after Donald Trump demolished Bonwit’s, I reached out and Suki informed me she was openIng a salon with a former colleague. They planned to name it Donsuki. Forty years and 80+ haircuts later, I can vouch that none are better, and few as good as, Suki and her team.

I introduced my fiancé to Donsuki Salon after it was recommended to me from a family friend. She instantly fell in love with Suki and the atmosphere here. It's a beautiful, large salon on the Upper East Side that has great service and has been around for years.

They offered me something to drink so I was sipping on a fresh brewed coffee while... read full review
