Dancebody Live online has made working out accessible and enjoyable. The choreography encompasses many of the same exercises my physical therapist has prescribed to me for strength and stability. The trainers appear to be well trained in kinesiology and exercise science. They execute the weight lifting, toning, and dance moves with safety and injury prevention in mind. The scope and sequence of the on demand classes and live classes are top notch. I truly look forward to each class because of the upbeat personalities of the trainers and motivating music. Contemporary music as well as nostalgic favorites are offered on a regular basis. I appreciate the fact that the choreography is complex and ever changing. This challenges my mind as well as various muscle groups. I recently read that learning new choreography on a regular basis can prevent dementia. Pattern recognition, movement, and music stimulate the brain. HIIT Dance is also offered as well. Studies show that HIIT and weight training balance the hormones, strengthen bones, and build muscle as we age. At 51, I am interested in activities that promote longevity, mobility, strength, and stress reduction. Dance Body offers this to me at a reasonable price. Dance is the only physical activity that has motivated me to stay fit. Jazzercise in the 90's and now Dancebody!

Visiting nyc and found them on the MINDBODY app. Was next to my hotel and I wanted to break a sweat before a big brunch - this was awesome ! I had Ally Faye (I think that was her name) and she was great at being welcoming and encouraging. It's pretty intense full body so be prepared !! Will be back when in town!

The choreography is never boring or awkward when you make the transition between movements. You do not need a dance background to benefit from Dancebody, which is truly "highly effective" as Katia Pryce says.Katia and Courtnay are inspiring without relying on words. They pay meticulous attention to detail while sharing their fun side and light spirit. They are a great example of why AI can never take their place! It's not just about their exercises and movements but also their personality, which is critical to motivate someone like me. When I take their classes in-person or virtually, I can feel their dedication and love of dance and fitness. I can see their expertise and precision without making it too difficult to follow.I get bored with routine exercise sets especially if they repeat, if I sense the teacher is just going through the motion, disengaged / not present, or distracting in some way. Or if they talk too much which can be distracting. Never at Dancebody.I just exercised for 90 minutes without stopping (except when the class stopped between songs) to Dancebody's 9:30am streamteam appreciation class this morning. I never lost interest and never lost a step at any point. I loved Katia teaching the "Signature" version on one side and Courtnay showing the "Full-Out" more advanced version on the other side! Most importantly, I even had a smile on my face towards the end of the cardio section (which was about 50-minutes in before their sculpt session for the remainder of class). I think it was because their movements were delightful and their music always fun and in alignment with the movements. I never thought it was possible to smile during any cardio exercises until I discovered Dancebody in 2019. I tried other celebrity fitness trainers' classes virtually and in person (think Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Ripa). Dancebody is better than all of them because I am still with them 3 years on whereas the others were fun but not effective or fun enough for me to stick with it. I found the others too repetitive in their choreography and more costly than DanceBody, which is more effective for my body and mind.I am very grateful to Katia, Courtnay, Yvette (who left Dancebody but will always have a special place in my heart) and EVERYONE at DB because it's truly a team effort. From hiring only teachers who meet Katia's and Courtnay's standards for dance and fitness to the always innovative streaming platform, their customer service online and in person. Thank you ladies for being inspiring and helping me smile through your challenging workouts, which leave me with a sense of calmness, well being, better sleep, and a toned and healthy body.
