My girlfriend was picking me up from the train station, and I was like damn how cute would it be if I just popped out with some flowers for her hehe. Plus I don't get her flowers enough so it was necessary.
For the first time ever, I was 15 minutes early to Moyni for my train to Philly. I'd always seen this little kiosk with flowers poppin out lookin all nice and inviting, and today I had time.
When I honed in on an adorable little arrangement, I thought it would cost around $30, even with the train station upcharge. I almost lol'd when it rang up at $53.70.
I live in the neighborhood and buy from here often. It’s expensive for what it is, but they have nice flowers and arrangements. Today I walked in and, because the person working there was busy with another customer, I began pulling a few flowers to put into a bouquet. I asked the person in the store “is it ok if I am pulling these myself?” She turned right to me and, in front of other customers, said “well- you did it…” and flipped her hand at me with an exasperated smirk. I replaced the flowers, walked out, and found a new florist across the street.

I stop for flowers every time I go through Grand Central Terminal at the Damselfly across from the Starbucks. The flowers are always fresh and gorgeous and the selection is great, but the best part is great service. Thanks to the two young ladies that waited on me yesterday at GCT. You brightened my day!
