Nick is fantastic to work with. He was quick to respond to our initial request, came by to inspect the situation in person and promptly provided a comprehensive and competitive bid. The finished work is outstanding and we are extremely satisfied with the workmanship and care he took repairing our oak flooring.

Black squirrel is bar none! The owner is highly responsive, extremely knowledgeable and saved us quite a bit of money in early catches of things that were not caught by other professionals. We are extremely grateful for the owner Nick and absolutely recommend Black Squirrel. You will not be disappointed!

I live in the West Village and have used Nick's company Black Squirrel on several jobs around the apartment - shelf installation, lighting installation, custom shelving.Nick does awesome work, and he is clear at communicating how he will approach each job, which means there's clear expectations and never any surprises.Would recommend Nick's company to friends in the area, and will continue to use Black Squirrel for future jobs too.
