My favorite tattoo studio by far! I've been to several studios and BaNeul was the most welcoming and comfy place I've been to. Of course, other studios have also been friendly and polite but BaNeul has stood out to me as one where it feels like you are truly being taken care of.

The studio is clean and, after the relocation, spacious. The artists are top notch. The tattoo pricing is more high end as it reflects the skill, experience, and reputations of artists themselves. (And y'all I'm talking in the sense that the name and style of these artists will be recognized in South Korea without you saying anything-type reputation ?).

*** 5,300th review *** I had spent years figuring out what and where to put a tattoo. Once I figured it out, I then spent months finding an artist whose portfolio "spoke to me." Once I found MJ, I knew it was she! It was easy to schedule an initial consult over email. I had sent some examples ahead of time, but we ended up talking a lot since I seemed drawn to a lot of different styles or subjects. Ultimately, when I saw the design MJ created, it was spot on - beyond what I could have described. She totally knew how to translate my jumbled thoughts into something beautiful. My design was $2k+, and it took just under 3 hours. MJ is serious about her craft. She was very focused, not too much chitchat. She has a different healing regimen than I had heard before, but it healed incredibly well. I took advantage of the free touch up (within 6 months). It only took 10 minutes. Worth it! Pay as much as you can in cash to avoid the credit card fee. Highly recommend for geometric, organic, moody, and elegant designs.

I got my tattoo done here back in June of this year by Nany. It looked and still does look amazing. Everything was seamless from the appointment booking to the appointment itself. Nany was patient and attentive to details and I never felt rushed to make a decision on the placement of the tattoo. MJ, the owner, was really nice too and also gave constructive suggestions on things like tattoo placement as well. I followed the thorough instructions that I was given for tattoo aftercare and three, (almost four!) months later the tattoo healed well and is the colors are just as vibrant as the first day. Highly recommend! :)
