About Alpha Obedience Dog Training
Alpha Obedience Dog Training is a business with a long-standing passion for dog training and handler education. Their family-oriented staff shares an unconditional love for dogs and aims to teach responsible ownership and strong pack leadership. They offer customized and flexible training packages, accommodating various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, such as Poodles, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Labradors, Huskies, and Pitbulls. Clients have praised Alpha Obedience Dog Training for their dedication and passion. One family was impressed with the helpfulness and knowledge of the trainers when working with their 5-month-old German Shepherds. The staff's ability to explain and demonstrate different techniques was highly appreciated. Another client was grateful for the support, knowledge, and patience provided for their 11-year-old dog, who experienced confidence and anxiety issues. The training and understanding of the dog's behavior were beneficial for both the owner and the dog. Alpha Obedience Dog Training offers free evaluations and various classes, empowering handlers with the necessary tools for continued training even after classes. Clients have also shared their success with specific issues like reactivity and boredom. Frank, one of the trainers, quickly identified insecurity issues and gave helpful advice before training began, leading to rapid progress with the dog Maverick. After just two sessions, Maverick was comfortable with Frank, and noticeable improvements appeared within a week. The trainer’s patience and the access to training videos helped owners ensure they were applying techniques correctly. In group classes, Frank provided individual attention, making both owner and dog feel comfortable. When Maverick showed signs of boredom with basic obedience, scent training was introduced, which significantly helped high-energy dogs and helped Maverick relax afterward. The staff, including Bianca and Ashley, are welcoming and always available to answer questions, giving owners confidence to go out more with their dogs and enjoy life. The team also helped a rescue dog named Nova, who had nervous and anxious tendencies, by helping her gain confidence. The owners appreciated the option to return for group classes, which helped their dog get used to distractions and other dogs. Overall, clients praise the caring staff, effective training methods, and the positive impact on their dogs’ behaviors and their own lives.
We are so happy that we found Alpha Obedience! A major plus is that the first few weeks are one-on-one. In these individual sessions, not only did Frank help with basic obedience, he also answered our myriad of questions about how to raise a puppy. Scout loved going to class! The group classes were great for early socialization and for practicing obedience with distractions. I love that there is no limit to the number of classes we can attend and that we are always welcome back even after graduating.
We graduated from obedience class! Alpha Obedience is absolutely amazing. We tried other trainers with no results, but after reaching out to Alpha (and seeing so many great posts) we met Frank and Bianca—and the rest is history. Our male, King, was insecure and would growl and cower when we arrived; Frank worked tirelessly to help him overcome that. We adopted Gracie halfway through our training, and she helped bring out King’s real personality. Between the two of them and the guidance from Frank and Bianca, our dogs made incredible progress. The team was patient, explained everything clearly, and truly cares. If anyone asks, we tell them Alpha Obedience is the best! And we can’t wait to try more classes! Highly recommended! 🩷
I can't say enough good things about Alpha Obedience Dog Training. I first spoke to Ashley (Frank's wife) half crying because I was ready to return our pitbull, Gemma, to the shelter after she pulled me over on a walk. She was so incredibly reactive to everything- including being quite aggressive at times. Ashley assured me that everything would be okay, and that it was all fixable. We started with Frank and Bianca 1-on-1 (thankfully) because I was so scared about how she would react with other dogs. We noticed a huge difference in the first week! Group classes didn't come until weeks later when Frank thought she was ready. He was with us every step of the way and answered all of our questions. They even have videos available so you can re-watch what you learn in training that week. Frank told us the correct collars and leashes to get for Gemma, and how to correct her when she did something negative. Fast forward to graduation day yesterday, and she could sit in "place" and watch the rest of class go on around her without reacting. We couldn't have done this without everyone at Alpha Obedience Dog Training.
