Amy Benac, M.S., L.Ac. is a highly skilled and experienced acupuncturist who has been practicing for over a decade. She opened the New Paltz Community Acupuncture clinic in 2009, offering lower-cost sessions, until the pandemic led her to close the clinic and open a private practice in Gardiner, NY. Patients praise Amy's compassionate and attentive approach, as well as her deep knowledge and mastery of acupuncture. She has helped to heal and soothe a wide range of conditions, from orthopedic injuries to chronic pain to gastrointestinal issues. Amy is amazing! In early 2019, a neurologist had suggested I try acupuncture for TMJ (jaw pain from teeth grinding). I was very apprehensive having never tried acupuncture before, but Amy quickly put my mind at ease. She has a gentle and calming manner while also being extremely knowledgeable. My TMJ issues were quickly resolved, but I have continued seeing Amy for anxiety and sinus issue/allergies, or whatever else pops up. I can’t express how much I value her treatments. Family members have also commented that they’ve noticed a positive change in my energy from the acupuncture; I’m much calmer. Now with the Covid situation, Amy goes above and beyond to keep everyone safe. I truly can’t recommend her enough. I’d give 10 stars if I could!
