I am so grateful to have Chroma for my curly hair cut and styling needs ever since Melissa first opened. I feel cared for and heard every time I visit which is important not just for my hair but also for a genuine human experience. The vibes are always good and it's great to see the connection and growth of the Chroma team. The ethos, products, and policies are so thoughtful and I always leave with happy hair. My child's first curly hair cuts have been here as well and he is always happy to visit, now eager for hair cuts, high fives, and fidget toys. I cannot express enough how absolutely in love I am with my hair. From the moment I sat in Meg’s chair I felt completely cared for. She was incredibly gentle, unbelievably sweet, and so patient with every concern I had.
Before we even got to the appointment I actually ended up getting sick and had to go to the ER the day we were originally scheduled. I had to cancel just about an hour before, and I felt awful about it but Meg was so compassionate, so understanding, and so empathetic about the whole thing. She made me feel like my health came first and never once made me feel guilty or stressed about rescheduling. That kind of kindness really stuck... read full review

We had an amazing experience meeting scotia and having her do my little sister’s hair. What an all around warm and inclusive shop that brings nothing but good vibes. A five hour session with scotia flew by with great conversation, hype up comments and such great energy. Couldn’t recommend anyone else for your exciting hair journeys!
