Amazing great fast service. This was the first time.i have ever gotten my eye brows threaded. It qas no painfull with no red marks or res left behind from the wax. I must say great experience i sont think i will ever wax my eye brows again. Vary friendly and great environment.
Debated between 3 and 2 stars for this, but decided to give it an extra star because 2 seems rude. I went there twice, and won't be back again. Maybe because I lived in NYC for so long, I became a little spoiled with the plethora of eyebrow threading options that cost much less than the price this place charges. I looked past the fact that it's a mall kiosk with 1 person working at a time. So not only are you waiting a while if there are people ahead of you, but then you're on full display as people walk past you. Anyway, the first time, my brows looked good...they were cleaned up and I had no real complaints. I went back down to the city (NYC) a few weeks later and had my brows done again at my typical spot as they were in need of a clean up. Two weeks later I had something to do and wanted a quick clean up. With no other (affordable) options in the Utica area, I went back here. The woman (different than the first one) was taking a SUPER long time to finish. Now, I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for the past 7 years so I know when I wait too long to go, it usually takes a little longer...but 2 weeks later is a matter of just cleaning up a few stray hairs. I started getting nervous as I had told the woman, "Yes, keep the thickness" after she asked me, "Do you want the thickness to stay the same?" When it was all said and done, I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe how much she took off!! I had 3 finger widths of space between the brows, the natural shape and thickness were gone...it looked like the time I was a little overzealous with the tweezers in college and and created pencil thin eyebrows. It was awful. I paid, gave my standard $5 tip, and left. Then, I had to spend 1.5 months growing my eyebrows back in, head to my typical spot in Brooklyn when I went back to visit...the lady there cleaned them up and told me to come back the next time I was down there and she would shape them. A month later, and 2.5 months after the woman up here took my brows off, I finally had them back to normal...along with a scolding from my spot in Brooklyn who told me to stop going to other places. Bottom line? I'm back in NYC so often that I will keep heading down there to get them done. Best of luck to this place, though.
