Our experience with Monti exceeded all of our expectations. We found out about his shop through Mondays at Racine. Monti generously donates his time and services to patients undergoing Cancer treatments, at no charge. Upon entering we were greeted by Monti and his staff. I have never been inside such a posh men's salon...neither had my husband! Monti treated my husband to a haircut, beard trim and finally a hot towel shave. The 2 guys were together for almost an hour and the conversation between them never stopped. It was sincere and genuine. Review for Monti’s Barber Shop: A Hidden Gem!
I recently had the pleasure of discovering Monti’s Barber Shop, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish! Accidentally finding this gem when my GPS led me astray turned out to be one of the best mistakes I’ve made.
Walking in on a Thursday morning around 11:00, I was immediately impressed by the vibrant atmosphere. The shop was busy with four skilled barbers ready to take on my two young boys, ages 5 and 3, for some much-needed haircuts. Despite not having an appointment, the staff welcomed us with open arms and assured me that walk-ins were no problem at all.

I’ve been looking for a new barber (and probably tried a dozen or so) since my guy retired a couple years ago. I hadn’t found anyone who could get my hair just the way I want it… until I gave Cara at Monti’s a try today. Looks like I have a new regular (bonus points for the TVs showing wrestling while I was there)!
