Completely unprofessional and acted extremely dishonestly. Over charged for time, never gave receipts and never gave invoices either for the over 7 hours she charged me for. I would be very cautious and follow your insticts about her. I didn't and thought maybe she was just charging for hours and would explain for what at our meeting, but then that meeting, which lasted about 20 minutes of the hour and 20 minutes i was there was riddled with people coming in and out, a man sitting at the desk as she discussed my personal finances, her and a co worker splashing peppermint oil about and laughing like mean girl clubbers at a man who they said stunk like urine, i did not smell urine, i did smell smoke on him but the entire fiasco was disgusting. When i tried to test her, because she had neither given an invoice or description of the work she said she spent 6 hours on, i asked her what the charge was after i said i cannot meet with her like this, and need alone time to understand the work we were doing. She said $200 and i paid her and again no receipt. She ripped me off for the time, spent it either talking to repair men, laughing at a client of hers who was a Veteran of Viet Nam, who she insisted stunk of urine. I did have a mask on but only smelled smoke. The whole thing was disgusting. Extremely dishonest and i am not even sure it is legal yet for an "accountant" to fail to give an invoice with a description of the work, or receipts. She admitted to over charging me when asked and said do you want your money back. I said why don't you keep it since you must really need it, because i wanted to see if she would have any integrity and say no, i cannot legally keep it since i over charged you, or offer receipts or invoices but nothing. She actually kept the $200 and the other $750 she recieved in cash for work she "said" she did but never divulged to me. It was unprofessional, dishonest, and to discuss my personal business as a man sat at the desk with us was disgusting and the way she and the woman who worked at the desk in her office acted after that poor client left, just so cruel and considering he was a Veteran of Viet Nam, just so horrific. Again, i did have a mask on but if i smelled the strong smell of smoke on him, i would certainly have known if he smelled like urine and he didn't. Even if he did, just wipe down the chair he was in, spray some disinfectant and pray for him that he is well and don't laugh at someone like that. Just all around disgusting what occurred.
