“Our central air conditioner stopped working in the midst of a severe heat wave. We had a service tech come to the house to repair and all they wanted to do was to replace the entire unit. We let them go and then remembered that our daughter had a favorable experience with Merone Heating and Cooling. We called them on a Sunday and they returned our call immediately. Jason came the next day right on time and looked at the unit and tried the simplest problem and went to get a capacitor. When that didn't solve the problem, he checked the blower motor, removed it and took it to get replaced. On Wednesday morning bright and early, he returned with the motor and installed it. It was a pleasant experience. Jason was polite, cordial and professional and was up front and truthful. He also installed a new filter. The icing on the cake was when he explained that the filter was incorrectly. The other techs have been doing it wrong for all these years. And I haven't had to dust since. Bravo Jason and thank. “Last winter, my water inexplicably stopped working. My fear was every homeowner's fear when that happens in the winter: my pipes had frozen. Not knowing what to do I took a look at the water tank and saw Kappus' name, logo, and phone number in red and white on the bright blue tank. I immediately called them and about 2 hours later had the nicest people steam thawing my line. Another 2 hours later and I had water. Cut to yesterday when, once again, my house suddenly loses water. Another call to Kappus gets someone here within the next hour and a half to assess the situation and let me know the pump died and needs to be replaced. The very next day Jess and Albert had me up and running. Despite the fact that my house is built on a mountain and my well is in the most precarious location, they were diligent and determined to get my water back by end of day and they accomplished their goal. I'd highly recommend Kappus to anyone in need of plumbing help. Unlike a lot of companies that claim to care, they actually do and are willing to put in the effort to make sure their customers satisfied. Are they pricey? Yes. But who isn't nowadays? They're honest and human and care and that's about the best you can hope for in a company. If I run into any water trouble again, I know I'll be calling them. Hopefully, it won't be anytime soon though.“

The experience has been amazing, and I especially love their billing process when deliveries are made and work is being done (workers don't collect money; instead a card on file is billed). We had an unscrupulous company come in for an emergency issue with hot water; it took them 3 weeks to fix. After the repair, heating issues persisted and it was Downey's HVAC specialist (his name is Royal) who came in and diagnosed the issue as air introduced to the system. He cleared it out and heating was working as it should in minutes. 5 stars!“

“We were in a jam last night as hubby just had hip surgery and his raised toilet did not flush. Thankfully we had a 2nd bathroom but the bigger commode did not fit so had to use smaller one. Called Rudy at 7:06pm on the recommendation of my best friend and he came at 7:43 and stayed until 9:02 with no success. He did not charge us for that time!
