About Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa
Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa is a beautiful venue for events and a pleasant accommodation for travelers, located near the Culinary Institute. The landscapes, including trees and the Hudson River, provide stunning backdrops for photos. The inn offers large spaces for gatherings, ranging from single rooms to entire houses that can accommodate groups. One such house provides views of the Hudson River and has rooms that are clean, spacious, and comfy. Guests should be aware of nearby freight train tracks, which can sometimes disrupt the peaceful atmosphere. The inn also features a spa that provides outstanding services. Guests have noted that the staff is helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast menu changes with the seasons, and reviews highlight the delicious eggs. There are walking trails where guests can see animals such as donkeys, chickens, ducks, and peacocks, although the ducks can be aggressive, so guests are advised to approach them carefully. The grounds include a graveyard with graves from the Revolutionary War, adding to the charm and history of the inn. While the rooms are priced higher than some other accommodations, rewards programs can help offset the cost. Some guests have suggested that the inn could benefit from updates and maintenance. Despite this, Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa offers a unique and peaceful getaway with great history, character, and opportunities to reflect and renew.

Everytime we walked to our car it seemed there were trucks or staff vehicles passing and we had to move out of the way. The breakfast eggs were delicious. Surprised that the room amenities were bee products but the honey at breakfast was in packets. We were there during off season but expensive for what you...read full review
