“I have received monthly acupuncture treatments for years; however, it was well past time to include primary care as well because my psoriatic arthritis was escalating. I was drawn to Northern Medical Center because of its dual approach to health and thought there would be a good chance of being understood and treated without judgment. I was very nervous, but it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable. I was treated compassionately by the medical assistants as well as PA Rose Chasin. She was thorough in her approach and spent a lot of time getting to know me and my history - as did the assistant responsible for the initial intake. It feels good to say I have a primary care provider after all these years. We will see what the blood work reveals and then discuss a plan of action, with Northern Medical's onsite physical therapy, acupuncture and hyperbaric therapy as potential options.
