I have received monthly acupuncture treatments for years; however, it was well past time to include primary care as well because my psoriatic arthritis was escalating. I was drawn to Northern Medical Center because of its dual approach to health and thought there would be a good chance of being understood and treated without judgment. I was very nervous, but it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable. I was treated compassionately by the medical assistants as well as PA Rose Chasin. Coming here was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have struggled with my mental health for years, I never saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Life was miserable. When I finally decided enough was enough I booked an appointment at Northern Medical with Dr Yang. It was one of the best decisions ever. He was able to get me treated for my depression and anxiety, and he also was able to book me with an in house therapist as well. I have been coming here almost weekly and I genuinely feel like a new person. I haven’t felt like this in years, and Northern Medical plays a massive part in that
Before finding Dr. Yang, I started to see a psychiatric nurse practitioner who prescribed the maximum daily dose of Propanol, which only provided temporary relief for about half an hour. Dr. Yang is incredibly competent with outstanding credentials. His extensive education and intellectual capacity were exactly what I needed to address my anxiety. He is attentive to his patients' needs and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking wholeness and mental wellbeing.
