“We have been using Gibbons for our animals since we had them. The office decor is inviting and friendly and the staff is kind and helpful. Dr Gibbons is a man of his word and treats every pet like his own. We had a cat that the was found to be diabetic, so the doc treated him and monitored him over the years. If it wasn’t for Dr Gibbons we would have never had a chance to enjoy 14yrs of love and affection from our fur baby. When it came time to say goodbye, Gibbons and his staff were so amazing and empathetic to the situation. They loved our cat just as much as we did and even requested that they have him part of their memorial wall ?. We are truly greatful to have such an amazing veterinarian in our area.“

This isn't how we wanted to meet, but we couldn't have asked for a better, more compassionate professional to have helped us through this very difficult time. We always felt listened to and that both we and our pet were deeply cared for. Dr. Gillium was honest with us and was patient with our questions and gave actionable, clear, kind feedback. We never felt like we were just a number or the "next in line" with her. I don't think there is an impatient or condescending bone in her body. “***Neuter Experience*** In adopting my dog through a pet adoption organization, they were able to connect me with Long Island Animal Surgery for a reduced rate in getting my dog neutered. He healed very well and the medical post care steps were very helpful. The only thing that was of concern was that his leash was not returned, and he did come back where his face was a little drenched.“

A different vet right across the highway was extremely rude and judgmental about my poorly bred rescue dogs anxiety, that I’m working very hard on with a professional trainer and daily medication. That place wouldn’t evaluate him with out a heavy sedative (which I did let them do because I figured they knew what’s best). But since finding this vet from our trainer a few months ago, I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. They are amazing with my 8 month old boy and the doctor said my dogs fine and there is no need to sedate him. very honest people who really care about animals.
