This place is a little diamond in the rough in North Massapequa! I had been getting SNS/powder gel manicures for a few years, but the quality of my regular salon had gone down, so I gave Sakura a try, since I work across the street. They have SO MANY color choices that I was blown away! They are organized and very hygienic - I love seeing that all of the employees maintain their own stations, with labeled tools that get sanitized regularly. My manicure never feels rushed, and the attention to detail always pleases me. Most importantly, I feel clean, relaxed, and refreshed after a visit here. My previous salon always changed the polish, but it never felt like a full manicure - here I get the full experience, and it really makes a difference! I get my nails done by Nicole, who always checks in about the details - how thick/how many layers of powder I like, the length and shape of my nails, whether I'm comfortable with the sanding tool or would prefer to soak, etc. It's a friendly place where I'm greeted by name, and right in the neighborhood. You can't go wrong!
