Incompetent!!! I made an appointment online for today at 3:40 and provide my insurance info. I get a text days later confirming my appointment for today at 2:40. I called the office and they had no other appointments available so I left work an hour and a half early. I got to the office and was told they didn't have my insurance info on file so it would take a few minutes to input. I gave the girl my insurance card, ID, and my referral from my primary. Mind you they're behind a plexiglass barricade so things have to be slipped in a crack between the desk and the bottom of the plexiglass or over the top. She comes out to me after about 5 minutes and tells me I need an insurance approval before I can be seen. I've had the same insurance for 10 years and have never heard of this, which I tell her. She tells me that I need this and I can reschedule after I get it. I left beyond annoyed because I know they are wrong. I decided to give the North Babylon office a call to see if they can help me. I explain what happened to the woman that answered. She was able to look up my insurance and the referral from my primary which was in their system and all I needed. I scheduled an appointment at an office 20 minutes further away than the Massapequa office so I don't have to deal with incompetence.

The office staff makes appointments and then when the time comes tells us we don't have that appointment. It happened twice. The doctors and PA are great but office staff doesn't understand how we take off work for telehealth or in person appointments and then when the time comes they tell us we don't have an appointment.

I would give a zero if it was possible. The staff is rude. The place is dirty. I made an appointment at 2:30 and when I got there a few minutes late they said they wouldn't see me because my appointment was at 2:20 (which was not true). It was clear the staff was just trying to get out because it was a Friday afternoon. As soon as I got to my car, they started walking out of the building. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
