I had a horrible experience at Massapequa Club Pilates. I signed up for a trial class to see if I would like it. I asked my doctor if this would be good for me since I have back issues and he said yes as long as they know what they are doing. I called them, told them about my back, and even filled out forms explaining my concern. I was told the instructor would be informed and all would be good. I went with a friend to the trial class. The instructor started the class. After she had us do some basic moves she asked if anyone had any medical issues. I raised my hand and said yes my back. In front of the class, she said sarcastically, "NOW YOU TELL ME THIS!" and rolled her eyes toward my back which my friend saw. My friend and I decided to join IMX Pilates in Deer Park. The staff was much more qualified, professional, friendly and helpful. We took their personal training classes and now are in group classes and I never felt better!

I recently visited Club Pilates Massapequa for the first time, accompanied by a friend and joined by several other beginners. Unfortunately, what should have been an enjoyable and motivating experience turned into a nightmare, largely due to the behavior of our instructor, Melissa.From the moment the class began, Melissa's demeanor was rude and abrasive. Instead of providing guidance and encouragement to us newcomers, she resorted to yelling and criticism, making me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. Edit (to reply to their response below) - I was 7.5 months pregnant when I first walked in the door and specifically said I wanted a month by month membership because of this, which I was under the impression I got. REGARDLESS it should not take numerous attempts/weeks to hear back from management.Worst fitness class club I’ve been to. Getting in touch with the owner is next to impossible. I contacted the studio 3 different times about canceling and was blown off every time. Ultimately got charged for an additional month due to how long the entire process took, which is ridiculous. Beware!
