New to area and found Aaron HVAC through Carrier web site. The inside unit was making a weird gurgling and clicking noise one night, so turned it off and called Aaron in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to come at noon same day. Steve the first tech diagnosed that the motor was broken, and recommended replacing just that. However, warranty on motor was just one-year and the Carrier in my new house was around twelve-years old, so given age of system, I actually asked to replaced the entire air handler, which comes with 10-year warranty. Aaron A/C is a gem. I have been using them for more than 40 years in 4 different houses on Long Island. They have now installed central air conditioning units in all 4 houses. What can I say besides they are the best... honest, knowledgable, professional and friendly. One of my 2 central units stopped working last week in the hottest part of the season. I called late afternoon and they were there by 10 am the next day. Worked on the unit to get it up and running. Unfortunately, it still wasn't working properly so I called them after hours and left a message. They showed up at 9 am the next morning. When I asked Steve what a new unit would cost he told me that he'd try a few things first because we'll do it step by step before we decide that I needed a new unit. All together they came back 4 times (at no charge) before I ordered a new unit. Couldn't be happier. They don't advertise because they don't need to. Did I mention that they're the best?
