10 minutes ago Son hit back part of his head on my wood living room table while we playing and had a small gash cut that probably would not close with a butterfly band aid so we did a virtual appointment with a PM Pediatrics doctor who looked at the pictures we showed her and suggested as we thought he should get a stitch or staple to close it so it can heal correctly. My son is almost 5 and this is his first real injury, but good thing didn’t bleed really! So me and my wife took him to the North Babylon location where no one answered the phone and it was very busy and too many people in our opinion waiting in the waiting room and couldn’t give us a time table of a wait as it was 5pm at night so we decided to leave good thing and called ahead to hear Massapequa Park location who answered the phone and told us under an hour wait at most. Surprisingly the place was basically empty and very clean to the appearance (It was a Sunday evening so we happen to get there at the rite time and were lucky). After checking in we waited in our car for no more then ten minutes and got called in. We had the Nurse Christina who was excellent and helping keeping my son calm and happy and The PA Dan Moscato was super friendly and professional and great dealing with my son and applying the staples as quickly as could. A very good experience of a bad experience of having to watch our son go thru that but he’s tough as nails! Highly recommend this place if unfortunately ever need to go there. Keep up the great work A+ staff!
The only pediatric urgent care I would go to
Minimal wait, clean exam and waiting rooms and friendly and attentive staff. Much better than the other locations I've been to.
