Have been using Sclafani for years,but the quality of service has been going downhill recently. This past winter they let my tank go dry during a cold snap even though I'm on their auto fill program, and most recently there was an issue with a potential underfill. In conversation with the rep, the rep focused on assigning blame for the issue rather than offering solutions. A better approach would have been to suggest scheduling service to check the system rather than assert that the company is without fault. Bad customer service experiences in 2021, I think I'm going to try out the other companies in the area.
I never had a problem with Scalfani as their oil prices were competitive and always called before making a delivery..They have been bought out by Burke who are known to be extremely expensive for oil..
Very disappointed that Scalafani has been taken over by Burke Oil. We have been with Sclafani well over 25 years with good service! Last week as always i placed an order for oil no oil delivered nor acknowledge of order called to find out the Maureen Sclafani is no longer with the company, my order was just sitting in the web app. Burke toke my order today for delivery tomorrow, this is not a good start for Burke, hope they entertain the prior quoted price
