Our 7 year old LG refrigerator, which has never had any problems, suddenly stopped cooling. I called LG customer support and they concluded it was probably the compressor, which was the only thing still covered under warranty. I researched authorized service companies on the LG website, but when I called around, some did not service LG products, some only worked in Connecticut, some could not help me for 3 to 4 weeks, etc. ATR Appliance Tech Repair was the only one who could help me. My dishwasher stopped washing effectively, stopped drying the dishes, and the water never got very hot. Mr. Palmer came, early in the two-hour time slot i'd been given, on the second business day from my call, and went to work quietly & incredibly quickly, but thoroughly. i was impressed just by that, and the way he organized & used his tools (I can recognize skill, i think, that way.) And best of all, rather than fixing the defective thermostat, and calling it a job well done, he advised me that other parts were failing, and asked if i'd prefer to just replace the appliance.
