Worst eyebrow place in Astoria. Short trip the lady who is working didn't even greet me when I walked in so I sat down because I wasn't in a rush. She was spending so much time with the person she was working on and when it came to me she didn't even ask me anything before we got started. I told her that I had sensitive skin and due to that I asked her if she could let me know when she was going underneath so that I could hold my eyebrows properly. She didn't even ask me what sort of shape or what I wanted, which I thought was strange because you should normally do that when you walk in to get a service. This lady also was on her phone texting as I waited about five minutes for her to get started when she told me to sit in the chair, I can't believe that was a sort of service that she thought was acceptable. Additionally when she finished with my eyebrows in less than two minutes I noticed she didn't even get underneath the left eyebrow. I was looking in the mirror and I asked her if she could please get the hair on the left side so she aggressively sat me down and did one quick sweep which resulted in several cuts underneath my eyebrow. As I was looking in the mirror when she was finished she was rushing me out. She looked like she was about to fall asleep. Waste of time and $5.
First time I went here I got an amazing eyebrow thread. Went back recently and I can’t remember the last time I had such a bad experience. This time I had a younger woman than the first time. I asked her to make my brows a little thinner like I do every time (bc they’re extra thick) and she told me no they were too short??! I was confused so I just said ok, maybe she wasn’t comfortable shaping them thinner. Then I get home and it’s not even properly cleaned up on one side! Had to fix it myself with an eyebrow shaver. Great price if you don’t mind the hit and miss service but I won’t be going back.
