“I brought my dog there the other day for the first time… Very very happy! let me start here…(I rescue pitbulls for the last 20 years so I’m very serious about their care and their mental well-being)
I had found parking in the front of the clinic and my dog hates getting out of my truck.. (his fear)
so I had the door open, and I was just talking to him, waiting for him to be comfortable to come out. One of the girls that work there saw me and decided on her own to come out and be super helpful and greet my dog and try and help me get him out and make him feel comfortable! it may sound like not a big deal, but it was because she didn’t have to come out and go out of her way to help me without me asking.
so we get him out of the car, we go inside he was so happy… All the girls inside were so welcoming so sweet and so obsessed with my Boy Dante! I did not wait long at all, actually I only waited Maybe about 5 minutes 10 minutes.MAX. which normally at all my old vets, I’ve always waited at least 30 mins. (this definitely helps us as pet owners and also our pets that hate waiting in a waiting room getting anxious)
then I go into the room to see Dr. Anastasiou .. (the best!!!) The most kindest, gentle and educated Veterinarian! listened to all my concerns, paid attention to my dogs behavior, mannerisms, and took good care of him! he did not rush me out, and he made everything super easy!! I highly recommend Middletown animal clinic! 10/10 !!!“

She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. “Dr Mario Vezza and his team are great. Our first experience was when our Mini Goldendoodle ate something poisonous in the evening a few weeks back and the doctor walked us through what to do over the phone in advance of bringing her in the next day. It was the best experience at a very difficult moment. This past week we brought our cat in to have what we thought was a cyst removed. It turned out to be a tumor. I asked a lot of questions which he answered and was transparent when I inquired about the cost and effort that would be put in. He also removed teeth that had become infected and brought to our attention a thyroid issue that she has. She is now doing better and on thyroid medicine. I am so happy that we brought her there.“

“I have been going to Dr Perez for 20 years with both my cats and my dogs. He is straight forward and honest and although vetting can be so expensive, he is reasonable and keeps costs down wherever he can. He also prefers to be Old School rather than order batteries of tests and medications and has an excellent intuition and feel for diagnostics rather than relying on machines and labs. I trust him and my pets always take well to him because he is very gentle and has such a warm bedside manner. Jimmy his assistant is also awesome, what a sweetheart and asset to this place.“
