“This review is about the excellent customer service that I received when I stopped by the store today. I was looking for a retro refrigerator that I saw online and couldn't find at my local store. In fact, my local store told me that there were none at any Home Depot stores. I decided to stop by the Latham store anyway. There were 2 display models for sale. Zack helped me with the fridge. He dusted it down and when I realized that the second model looked better (from the front), but was missing the handles, Zack and another employee, got out their tools, took the handles off of one and screwed them on to the other. When we pulled the second one out we realized that it was badly dented in the back. I apologized to Zack for doing all of that work for nothing and he let me know that it wasn't a problem. That is what he was there for. He then proceeded to call around to see if other stores had what I was looking for and he found exactly what I was looking for at another Home Depot. I don't know if Zack, or any of the other employees who helped me today will ever see this but, for everyone else who does, this is how a store should run. This is customer service at it's BEST! She was extremely patient with my husband and I as we spent many weekends at the showroom looking over samples, returning samples that we were able to bring home, and picking out new samples to try out that week. She went above and beyond to search other engineered hardwood manufacturers to find us the flooring that fit our needs and wants perfectly. “Words cannot express how happy we are with our floors after Anthony and the team at Acme refinished them. We recently bought a 94-year-old house with original red oak hardwoods that had been covered by carpet for ~50 years. The green carpet padding had deteriorated/almost melted into the floor and a number of deep moisture stains had set in (see before pics attached). Acme sanded and refinished our whole house and staircase and they look nearly brand new - I almost cried when I saw them!We got a number of quotes to start and not only are Acme’s prices extremely competitive for the area, but Anthony’s professionalism and customer service is miles ahead of the other companies we spoke to. “Ordered a carpet through one of the big box stores and had it installed by Olympic Flooring. The men that came to the house were early (which a family with little kids) is great. They were very professional and even interacted a little with my 15 month curious son. Our room is larger that the carpet ordered and we were worried about any seems, my wife got down on the floor and after a few hours still can't find the seem. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and even vacuumed the floor. An absolutely great install, will never use any other installers.“
