Dr Flanigan saved our dog's life! She cared deeply about Molly's welfare and treated her as if she were her own dog. We will be forever grateful to her because she saved our Molly's life. Her entire staff was warm and welcoming and also truly cared about Molly's well being. Thank you, Lake Placid Animal Hospital for all you do for our pets!

We first came here while on vacation when our dog got quilled by a porcupine. Dr. Flanigan is great and the staff is wonderful. Now, we're on our next dog, and we still make an appointment at least once a year to stay with this practice. definitely recommend.

I understand fully what vets. go through with costs etc. I had made an appointment long enough in advance not to be charged the emergency fee. I'll pay what I need to to get my dog better. Thats no question. My lab was seen. My card was taken without them showing me what I was paying for. They just take your card. That may be convenient for them, but is unprofessional. The ole see your bill before you pay. My card was then brought back to my car (no signature) and on the bill (which I hadn't been shown yet) was an "Overflow" fee. Which at no point was I alerted to. Almost double the usual fee of showing up for a normally scheduled appointment. The cost of same day. How is overscheduling my issue? No alert of these hidden, not usual fees is plain deceitful. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth. And you just lose trust.
