Zoe has created such a wonderful environment to practice. It's a must do if you're in the area, local or visiting.
It's probably the massage I ever had. I am an athlete who gets a massage on a regular basis, and I can honestly say Anne is amazing. I am not t local to the area. Otherwise, I will see her on a regular basis.

This place is so underrated and very reasonably priced! My husband and I were eloping in the ADKs but got covid right before. The Beauty Loj was so nice about rescheduling my bridal hair appointment. Not only do they have excellent customer service, but they did an INCREDIBLE job with my hair! I have super frizzy hair and would be hiking up a mountain for our wedding location on an 80 degree day. To my surprise, I didn't have a single sighting of frizz on top of the mountain! I would 100% recommend the Beauty Loj at Norm's! You won't be disappointed!Service: Bridal services

I visited lake placid from Canada on 2024 new years and had the worst back pain I have ever experienced. I couldn’t walk or stand more than 20sec. I googled and found Dr. John called his office and his lovely wife booked me in for the same day!I was so nervous as in the past I visited over 5 different Chiropractors and non of them helped my situation. John welcomed me in to his office listening to my story and list of issues and done his magic nothing short of absolutely amazing job! I couldn’t not believe how amazing I felt after his treatment !! Within 10-15min after I could stand, walk and felt like a human again. I booked another appointment right away before my return to Toronto and again John worked done the magic..I would like to thank John and his wife for everything they done for me. If you are in lake placid area and feel any pain please don’t hesitate and pay them a visit you won’t be disappointed!! 5+ stars service.Thank you again, Gadi.

Also drops a tree on a dime. 100% would recommend Amber as your wedding hair stylist! I was pretty stressed about my hair being the style I wanted for my wedding day, but after I had my trial with Amber, I was confident everything would turn out great! I was aiming for a loose/boho updo and she nailed it! I had bought Halo Couture extensions primarily to add volume on my wedding day, and Amber had worked with them before and was very accommodating. On my wedding day, my hair turned out perfect, and continued to hold and look beautiful throughout the entire day!
This vet hospital is exactly what you need when your fur friend is in distress. They are smart, precise, competent, compassionate, but also full of good humor. My anxiety washed away in their care. You couldn't ask for more!
We come to Lake Placid every few years and it’s very hard to eat here as vegans. We had delicious wraps at the GGMarket. Veggies and hummus. Veggies were fresh, cold and crunchy. Hummus or garlic tahini was tasty. We’re not picky- just want to be able to eat.
Dr Flanigan saved our dog's life! She cared deeply about Molly's welfare and treated her as if she were her own dog. We will be forever grateful to her because she saved our Molly's life. Her entire staff was warm and welcoming and also truly cared about Molly's well being. Thank you, Lake Placid Animal Hospital for all you do for our pets!
