I hold the bar high when it comes to my daughter. After all, she’s my child. And I’m pretty good at spotting a “sales pitch”. Samantha was in kindergarten when she started out at Leclercs. She was also taking piano lessons and school study-group. Well, gradually, her heart called her attention to Leclercs martial arts, and she asked that she go to karate more often than piano. I agreed. Then she had her first piano recital. I asked if she was nervous and she said, “no, I have to do stand up in front of everyone at karate, this is no big deal”. Then it graduated into me not having to follow up on homework assignments… she wanted to make sure she got all school work done early and correctly so she could go to karate. That was a plus! I was seeing a trend. Then came the time for her to “compete” at local events. And this was fantastic!!! I watched her push herself outside of her comfort-zone, instructors showing genuine care for their students and encouraging them to do their best. And did my daughter always come home with a trophy ? No. But she was learning incredible skills… life skills! And now at almost 13, she is still with Leclercs. It’s been her constant! And she’s gone from “local” events to national. My daughters experience with the “leclerc family” has truly been priceless. If you have high expectations, want to see passion for profession, you need look nice further!!

We love Leclercs!! It has been a huge blessing in our lives. Our daughter started just over a year ago and the growth, confidence and happiness we have seen in her has been amazing!! She started with her hands in her mouth and tons of nerves/anxiety (as she usually does with new things) for the trial and first few classes and quickly broke out of her shell.
The instructors are hands down some of the best and not only teach them martial arts and skills, but life lessons and always have great messages for the kids (and adults too lol). And, we see every time we are there how much they truly care about the kids. They want the best for them and want them to succeed. They’ve built a great community and we are happy to be apart of it. Master Margerum and his whole staff are some of our daughter’s (and ours) favorite people.
The BEST :) I recommend!
