This was urgently needed due to my developmentally disabled son's vestibular (balance) problems and my wife's surgery. “Shepard Oil has always been beyond wonderful to me. When I first moved to this area it was a nightmare trying to find a reliable reasonable Oil and Kerosene Company. I saw one of their trucks one day and called them since then I never had an issue or a problem. You do have to preplan your oil and kerosene deliveries as you do with any of the local suppliers. You can't call when your almost out of fuel and expect the delivery the next day. They are busy like every other supplier is especially when it gets brutally cold outside. They are I feel for me anyways the best in the area. Very highly recommend them.“

“My furnace was making a terrible smell at 9pm, and I wasn't sure what to do! I am new to the area and not knowing what contractor to call, started a "A" and worked my way on. Tom was the first person and only person to call me back promptly and even though it was far after hours, rushed out when he understood how nervous I was about my new house and the problems it might have. He discovered of all things, a mouse had made a nest in the furnace pipe thing and after clearing it out and doing his tests, said I would be all set. Problem solved! When I have central air installed in the spring I know who I will be calling!“
