First time getting my nails done here and first time getting a Russian manicure!! Everything was absolutely fantastic and the staff is lovely! UV Gel, Airbrush and top-tier hand drawn designs.

I just got my balayage done here and it was a wonderful opportunity. I called the day before and spoke to the owner Karen. She was professional, pleasant and accommodating. I had never been there and she took her time speaking to me on the phone about my ultimate goals for my hair, as well as offer expert advice on expectations. She asked for me to send her a picture so she can review my hair beforehand in order to give me better sound advice and what to expect. She provided white glove service-and I felt very comfortable there. The salon is charming, stylish, chic and sparking clean. It's in a stellar location with easy parking. The entire experience was 5-star and Karen and the staff were pleasant, hospitable and professional. I'm so glad I found it and can't wait to go back for my next service. They offer all the services you need to upkeep and pamper yourself. They really are experts and care about their clients--I felt this even before putting a foot in the salon-Karen exudes friendliness and strong professional acumen. Top hair products are used and you will feel well taken care of! Thanks Karen and team!

My experience with Snip Porvorim has left me with a bad taste in the mouth. I will not return to this establishment. I am a resident of Porvorim, Goa and I have been a regular customer going to Snip for the past 2 1/2 years - and I have recommended them to friends/ family visiting. Around my birthday this May I decided to go for a full body massage. I cant recall the name of the masseuse but from the start of the massage I had a feeling that she wasnt very experienced. I still thought based on my past experiences I should give her a chance. However, it backfired. I came out of the massage feeling unrelaxed, dissatisfied and could feel the beginning of a spasm in neck/ shoulder region. I provided feedback at the front desk. All they said was "we are sorry" and that was about it. I went home and the spasm continued to get worst so much so I couldnt look to my right and was in pain. The following day I called Snip to let them know that the massage had resulted in a spasm and I wanted my money back. And that this was something for which I could potentially need medical help - a physiotherapist, They kept insisting that I go back to Snip and let one of their masseuse fix it which to me was appalling. If I have an injury why would I return to the source of the injury? Why wouldnt I seek a medical professional instead? Then I was asked to come to Snip so that they could have proof that I had indeed had an injury. Phone call after phone call - I was passed around between the front desk receptionist and the manager - who then said that they would return my money only if I showed them a medical receipt which would be proof that I actually had an injury and I had to actually seek professional help. Having been a good consistent customer the doubt and lack of trust made me very furious and disappointed. I am in shock that this is the way Snip treats a regular good customer!!!! To me it wasn't/ isn't about the money any more but about customer service and how badly this situation was managed. I have been a consistent customer who has tipped well every time I have availed service and this was how I was treated!!!!🤐

Karen is the hair doctor! She is especially talented with achieving blonde!! I didn't think it was possible to achieve the lightness she can do! Karen also specializes color corrections and enjoys the challenge of fixing difficult hair. Additionally she recommended a great resource for extensions & then prepared, put them in and provided maintanence. Hair Botox is also an amazing treatment that she recommended and brought life back to my dry, dull hair! Her space is always cute and inspiring and she manages to recommend and complete to perfection everything she does! She is also kind, open and compassionate and has become a trusted friend. Had the absolute best experience with Karen ! I'm super weary of hairdressers from bad experiences in the past so before going to Karen I did a lot of research. Since no one had anything bad to say about her, I took the plunge and was definitely not disappointed. Karen became my long time friend right away! She gives you a personal one on one experience that's unmatched. Listened to exactly what I wanted and she made it happen. She makes you feel as if you have a personal stylist not just someone trying to make a buck. Karen is stuck with me as a long time client for sure!! Found Karen on Yelp and she told me her business model had changed and she moved her salon to her home. It is a lovely space and I enjoyed our 1 on 1 time. So rare with a hair stylist. She took amazing care of me and has a clear love and respect for what she does. The finished product was absolutely stunning and I am happy I found a stylist I can trust.
