“Honestly, I was a little skeptical about getting the hand tied extensions. Taylor was beyond informative about the extensions involving the process, maintenance and after care. She took any worry I had away. After a month or so I said “Let’s do it “. The install was flawless ! I’ve never felt more confident in my own skin. Taylor is patient, kind and beyond understanding. “I had a New Years Eve wedding in the area a couple of years ago. I waited until the last minute to figure out what to do with my hair, I called up Salon Silk the day before to see if there were any appointments and Nina squeezed me in in the morning. My experience at Salon Silk was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. Nina is extremely nice and did such an incredible job on my hair. I have very thick/curly hair, and not once did she have any rude comments about the thickness (literally every other hair stylist I’ve gone to has made comments). She washed, blow dried and styled my hair for an incredibly reasonable rate and it lasted ALL DAY! She did a beautiful old fashioned wave style for me, and even after dancing for hours and watching the ball drop, my hair looked like I just walked out of the salon. I wish I lived in the area, I would definitely make Salon Silk my permanent salon.“

Kasey has been doing my brows for years now and I don't trust anyone else. I moved to NYC recently and I still wait until I'm visiting my parents to get my brows done. The lamination service changed the way my face looked in the best way. I think the benefit brand wax is a super secret formula or something because I never have any irritation or redness after getting my brows done when I always did at other places. 10/10 experience every single time.“

“Carissa is a true artist & a lovely person. She made me feel welcome right away in her cozy, stylish, & immaculate studio. During the consultation process,she demonstrated a facsimile of a different technique on each eyebrow so I could decide which was right for me.I decided to go with the ‘hairstroke’ or nanobrow technique [she is the only practitioner on the island to offer this at the time of writing]. She had a cancellation, so we did the procedure right then & there!The nanbrow technique was the right choice for me, as I wanted hyperrealistic brows. I am more in love with my results than I can describe. She recreated my old brows with stunning accuracy so I still feel like myself— but brighter & more confident.She sent me home with care instructions, product, & a little treat in a goodie bag— such a thoughtful touch— & checked in after the procedure.
