I had the best experience at Hairdo! After a hair disaster at another salon, I was in desperate need of help as I was running out of time and had to be ready for a wedding. I had originally tried booking hair and makeup with Hairdo but waited too long to book and was only able to make an appointment for makeup with Jenny. Even though their schedule was fully booked, Naomi managed to graciously squeezed me in to fix my hair. Their kindness and professionalism were evident from the moment I walked in as they all eased my anxiety and reassured me that all would be well.

I had an amazing curly cut with Olivia! She educated me on how to manage and style my curls and finally bring them back to healthy! I’m extremely grateful to have found her! Can’t wait for my next appointment!

I've lived in the area for 3 years and wish I had discovered Hairdo sooner. The salon itself has a cozy, edgy, and feminine vibe, and everyone is welcoming and warm. However, the reason I am writing one of my first Google reviews ever is because of Jess Yau. I have been to every known colorist in Manhattan, from Marie Robinson herself to everyone in between, and for some reason, no one seems to get brunette hair right. It's either black or red and never consistent from time to time. My current colorist, whom I really loved in CT, became too far for me as I needed to get my hair colored more often (yay greys).
